Ahi Evran Üniversitesi, Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi, Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik Bölümü 2016 yılında kurulmuştur ve Moleküler Biyoloji ile Genetik olmak üzere iki anabilim dalı mevcuttur. Bölüm 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında lisans eğitimi vermeye başlamıştır. Lisans programının ilk yılı, öğrencilere bilimsel altyapı sağlamak amacıyla moleküler biyoloji ve genetiğe giriş derslerini kapsar. Daha sonraki yıllarda ise moleküler biyoloji, biyoinformatik, biyokimya, mikrobiyoloji, hücre biyolojisi, genetik ve laboratuvar teknikleri gibi zorunlu derslerin yanı sıra, gerontoloji, toksikoloji, adli genetik, farmakogenetik ve kanser biyolojisi gibi alanlarda seçmeli dersler de mevcuttur.

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Ahi Evran University was established in 2016 and consists of two main divisions: Molecular Biology and Genetics. The department began offering undergraduate education in the 2017-2018 academic year. The first year of the undergraduate program covers introductory courses in molecular biology and genetics to provide students with a scientific foundation. In subsequent years, alongside compulsory courses such as molecular biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology, genetics, and laboratory techniques, elective courses are also available in fields such as gerontology, toxicology, forensic genetics, pharmacogenetics, and cancer biology.
